Children may be ready to learn basic academic skills such as math, reading, and writing at this stage. Our teachers engage our little scholars in daily structured activities based on individual needs and readiness. Our little scholars are allowed to lead activities or informed lesson plans.
Curriculum Scope and Sequence

During Community Circle, the little scholars actively participate by reading short verses or initiating community check-ins.

Our little scholars learn about cultural values, boundaries, respect for each other, and healthy self-expression.
- Language/Communication
Little scholars are engaged in more structured activities such as journaling, drawing, cursive writing, and basic conversations with peers in other languages.

Reading comprehension is gently introduced, as well as recognition of letters, colors, and shapes, writing’s own name, and understanding of weather and time.
- Movement/Physical
Our little scholars learn healthy habits and the benefits of nature. They are encouraged to play outside and engage in physical activity of choice, such as virtual yoga or dance.
