Our mixed-age group activities with toddlers/preschoolers teach the importance of teamwork. At this stage of development, toddlers develop their preferences and learn to do things independently. They settle into a routine and shart showing personal preferences for how they want their world to be. They're excited to learn and love using their imagination to create.
Curriculum Scope and Sequence
- Spiritual Development
Every morning, we hold Community Circle to check in and engage in rhythm activities with verses and songs.
- Social-Emotional
Toddlers are taught positive self-expression, and provided the space to process daily emotions through arts or music.
- Language/Communication
Little scholars engage in fun activities to expand vocabularies, such as poetry, rhythm activities with sight words, and active listening exercises.
- Executive Functioning
Playtime is structured to encourage problem-solving and independence. We encourage creativity and self-expression and provide exposure to diverse painters and musicians in each monthly lesson plan.
